Intrigued with how users navigate features and find value in a product, I am passionate about acknowledging, understanding, and designing for the customer’s needs. My goal as a UX Researcher is to conduct effective and empathetic research which leads to innovative digital solutions with positive impacts for the end user.

I enjoy having conversations with people to understand what motivates them, and I love discovering practical solutions to solve their problems. My strengths include being endlessly curious, asking the all-important “Why?” questions, and thinking through product features that benefit the end user.

I am a graduate of The University of Virginia with 4+ years of experience in UX research & design. I have worked for a large international corporation, a nimble start-up, and a medium-sized business. My background in empathizing and understanding the end user, combined with my UVA education and UX experience give me a unique perspective on the needs of the key individuals and business outcomes needed at variety of stages.

Boston, MA has been my home since graduating from the University of Virginia and retiring from USA Swimming.  After growing up in small-town Michigan, I readily accepted the “big-city” life and the Boston accent! It’s wicked cool. I love reading, being outdoors, practicing yoga, and playing with my golden retriever, Hobbes.
